Before Care

  • If you have had any type of eye surgery, including cataract, Lasik, and/or blepharoplasty, you must consult your physician and get clearance. Most physicians require 3-9 months before you can have your eyeliner done. This is because there is slight pressure and stretching on and around the eye during the procedure.

  • Please do not wear mascara or any eye makeup to an eyeliner procedure.

  • All eyelash extensions must be removed prior to the procedure.

  • Discontinue Latisse and any other lash growth serum for a minimum of 4 weeks prior.

  • Any eyelash or eyebrow tinting or eyelash curling should be done no sooner than 48 hours before and two weeks after the procedure.

  • If you wear contacts, please do not wear them to your appointment and refrain from wearing them for a minimum of 24 hours after the procedure is finished.

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen, Fish Oil 48 hours before the procedure.

  • DO NOT drink alcohol or caffeine 48 hours prior to appointment.

  • Discontinue Retin-A, Chemical and Laser Peels, Microdermabrasions, Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), and any chemical exfoliant or "brightening" skincare at least 6 weeks prior (Once your eyeliner has fully healed, you must cover your tattoo area with VASELINE prior to the use of these products to prevent premature fading).

  • Please note, you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

After Care

  • Dry healing is recommended. If the area is too dry or itchy, apply a small amount of balm provided with a cotton swab.

  • Eyes will be swollen and perhaps a bit ‘crusty’ upon waking. The swelling will reduce after being in an upright position and from blinking and increased circulation to the area. Ice packs protected with a cloth may be applied as necessary to reduce swelling. Sleeping slightly elevated helps alleviate swelling sometimes seen in the morning after facial procedures. Avoid heavy lifting, physical exertion, and crying.

  • Some itching is normal. DO NOT PICK, PEEL, OR SCRATCH the treated area or your color may heal unevenly, and you risk scarring and infection.

  • No makeup for 7 days. Mascara should be brand new. No lash curlers for 10 days.

  • Do not expose your healing skin to direct shower spray, skin creams, ointments, or lotions other than what you have been instructed to use for 7 days following your procedure.

  • Do not expose your healing skin to direct sun, tanning beds, hot tubs (tub bath if body area treated), saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools, or extremely hot water for 2 weeks following your procedure.

 How many treatments are required?

The majority of our clients require 2 treatments to have their lash line perfected. Touch-up appointments can be made 4 weeks after your first visit.
